Bismor is a crafting material resource. When mined and deposited, it will be added to the teams depository like other ores.

When the mission is concluded, the material will be added to the player's personal inventory in the space rig. It can then be used as an ingredient to create/purchase upgrades or vanity items, or be bought or sold for at the mineral trading console.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

As it appears in-game

Bismor is a cube-shaped dark yellow metallic crystal structure, dotted by small brownish-orange crystals across its surface. It is usually sitting at ground level, making it relatively easy to mine.

Locations[edit | edit source]

Bismor is common in the Dense Biozone, and scarce in the Salt Pits as well as the Crystalline Caverns. It cannot be located anywhere else.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

Bismor might be named for bismuth, a metal that is usually obtained as a byproduct of refining lead or tin. The appearance of the in-game material might be a nod to bismuth vanadate[1], a distinctive bright yellow pigment used in visual arts.
