Morkite is a basic Mineral that appears in the Mining Expedition mission in Deep Rock Galactic and "Extract Morkite" objective for Deep Dives. The primary objective in Mining Expedition consists of gathering a certain amount of Morkite, ranging from 200 to 400 units of it. Morkite will appear in your inventory, much like many other resources, and must be deposited into the M.U.L.E to count towards the primary quota.
Appearance
It is a shiny, dark teal mineral. It is one of the few minerals in the game that can be seen gleaming in the dark distance of cave systems and tunnels.
Locations
Morkite can be found in any Planetary Region during Mining Expeditions. It seems to spawn slightly more frequently than the mineral Nitra.
Trivia
- Morkite Ale was hinted on the Public Service Announcement (PSA) Boards before Update 17: "Oktoberfest" hit. Once the update came out it makes an appearance under the name "Dark Morkite" in the Abyss Bar.
- Since Update 18: "Job Opportunities" Abyss Bar beverage "Dark Morkite" increases Morkite mined by 20%.
