By default, the pickaxe does 20 damage per swing, while the sharp edge modification can increase it to 30. Unlike the other classes, the [[Driller]] can purchase the Titanium Reinforcement modification to destroy the terrain in one less swing.

About

The Basic Pickaxe is a fundamental Support Tool avaliable to every class. By default, it is bound to the right mouse button when using a Keyboard and Mouse, and the Left Trigger on controllers. Swinging the pickaxe allows the player to destroy terrain around them. The pickaxe is also used to mine veins of resources, such as Morkite, where destroying them will immediately transfer the mined material into your mineral inventory.

The pickaxe can also be used as a melee weapon to damage enemies. It does 20 damage per swing, instantly killing weak enemies such as Glyphid Swarmers. You will be unable to move for a short moment after hitting an enemy after hitting it with your pickaxe, making you vulnerable to attacks.

Unlike the other classes, the Driller can purchase the Titanium Reinforcement modification to destroy the terrain faster than any other class.
