Quantrite is a cut crafting material. It was accidentally showcased in the Mineral Trade picture on Update 12's steam page, shortly after it was replaced with a new screenshot where the resource was removed. While This resource was fully removed from the game's files during Update 14, it has made a peculiar return with the release of Update 34.
Although it's possible to spawn in a chunk in older builds, according to a developer it may have never had a proper in-game appearance or it eventually became Hollomite, whether this resource will return in any way is unknown. During the development of Deep Dives Quantrite makes an appearance as a placeholder icon for Matrix Cores.
Appearance[]
It's a thick, orange colored crystal with very small protrusions, there are orange studs around the object. Its chunk is a triangular orange glowing crystal.
