Search and Extract missions are characterized by one large, irregularly shaped cavern, with a few small cave offshoots connected to it, sometimes behind dirt walls. Like Mining Expedition missions, your goal will be to collect a set quota of Morkite as well as whatever optional Secondary Objective material is assigned. Throughout the caves there's an abundance of Gold and Crafting Resources encouraging miners to explore the non-linear formations.

The goal of Search and Extract is to collect a certain quantity of a shiny, dark blue resource named Morkite. Search and Extract was the second mission to feature Morkite until it was retired. It glimmers in the darkness, making it easy to find, even in the largest of caverns. Once mined, the Morkite must be deposited into the M.U.L.E for it to count towards the quota.

While you must complete your primary objective to finish the mission, You can choose to collect an optional secondary objective resource for a Credit bonus upon mission completion.

After the primary objective is completed a red button will light up on the MULE, once pressed a drop pod will be called to pick up the MULE and any surviving miners.
